I have seen this played so many times, over and over again. And here i am, seating,
watching and growing weary at the games which is being played in this world. I am tired of
the ample of reasons which is so often symphatetic reasons which dosen't solve the issues
at hand. What i need is a solution which actually works and not some lazy attempth at
solving a problem.
It occurs to me that, people are simply trying to play smart by cutting corners. Trust me,
realty will smack you in the face, only because of one simple reason which is, they have yet
to resolve the outstanding problem instead of trying to get away from it.
For example, shortage of staff. Initial number of staff is 3 excluding the employer, and
things are managable. Then due to health reasons and impromptu, one staff was fired and
now the number of staff has decreases to two working staff. Two working staff at two
different outlet, so 1 staff at one outlet 12hours for 6 days a week. There's only two work to
describe it, overworked and underpaid. Solution given hired more staff, partimers or full
timers and the solution denied.
The employer expected the full time staff to work for 6 days
long hours and with a certain amount of pay and she's very flippy. One part she gave
the appointment letter and confirmation yet only to decide to pay in part timer wage till a
month later and said, she will issue a second appointment letter. She even give 7 days for
the benefits of doubt. She expected that we followed a certain common practised protocols
like Medical cheat/certs during sick, early for work for prep, 24 hours notice/3 mths notice
for resignation letter etc and yet none of this is applied to her. Dude, for your infomation
the law and protocols works on both parties - the employers and employees. I hope she
realizes her error and changed. If not - nothing will change and the same old cycle will
continues to repeat. I am aware that, she's not the only employee out there who would
try to cut corners.
WTF, people are just irresponsible. This is not the first case nor will it be the last there ever
will be. Yet my instinct told me that, given any time and space - mankind will never
change... even if they do, it's going to be one of the hell a slow process....
